Welcome to www.sullens.net, the home page of Barry J. Sullens, Assistant Professor at Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This site is primarily for my learners at Ivy Tech. You can view the courses I teach, locate the rooms and times, and view my office hours to the right. In addition, you can display the course schedule for each course I am teaching this semester by clicking on the name of the course below.
The Spring 2012 semester has begun. If you are a student in CINS, you may visit me during my office hours for advising; walk-ins welcome. If you need to meet with me about Financial Aid paperwork (SAP), please call 260-480-4258 to schedule an appointment. NOTE: The last day to drop a class this term is 04/08/2012.
I am the Technical Chair for the
Indiana SkillsUSA Web Design Contest. The official launch of the
blog site for the Indiana Web Design Contest is here! High school students from all over Indiana can follow this site to stay up-to-date with the Indiana SkillsUSA Web Design Contest. The state competition in Web Design is held annually in Indianapolis, Indiana. Each April, students who advance from their regional contests converge on the Walker Career Center in Indianapolis to compete head-to-head with the other regional winners. Judges critique each team's work based on the following criteria:
Design and Layout
Programming and Code
The Design Process
Teamwork and Professionalism
Even though this blog is primarily directed at high school SkillsUSA participants, all of my Ivy Tech
Web students in CINS 157, CINS 257, and CINS 258 will find the information on the blog both
useful and enlightening. Advancing Web design...one student at a time.
