QUESTION: How do I apply Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense?

Answer: It is best to begin applications in the spring, before the presence of the offending insects is detected. The preferred method of application is with a standard pump sprayer with a fine spray nozzle. Shake well, then mix 1.5 oz. of product with each (1) gallon of water. With nozzle about 6-8 inches above the grass, use a sweeping motion to spray downward into the grass.
Do not spray during the heat of the day. Spray early to mid-morning, or early evening.
For best results, spray all of the surrounding environment including trees, shrubs (get under and inside), non-sunlight areas like accesses to crawl spaces and basements, patios and decks, and up sides of structures about 3-4 feet.
Repeat application within 10 days of first application, then repeat every 2-4 weeks depending on mosquito activity observed.

QUESTION: It rained within a few hours after I sprayed my yard. Do I need to reapply?

Answer: If rain occurs within 24 hours after application, Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense will still have a residual effect, but the area may require re-spraying depending on mosquito activity observed.

Answer: Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense creates a residual shield or barrier. It is not intended to be used as a knock-down-kill product. You may still observe the presence of the offending insects during the time that this product is transforming the environment, making it inhospitable to them.
