Answer: Our product works quite differently than conventional products. It uses a gradual process of creating a biological shield, becoming more effective over time with multiple applications. It is not intended to be an initial kill type system, but rather alters he eco=system in order to develop an inhospitable environment for a variety of insects.

Answer: One application will be effective for up to (4) weeks, and will vary depending on many environmental factors.

Answer: Many other products are harmful if inhaled, harmful if absorbed through the skin and contain hydrocarbon propellants. Since many of these products are applied as a fog-mist, it is difficult not to get them on your skin or breathe the vapors. Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense is all natural, non-toxic, safe and effective.

QUESTION: The spray smells strongly of garlic. Will this go away?

Answer: This odor will abate almost completely within an hour after spraying. You may smell a very mild odor for several weeks. This is the residual shield working.

Answer: Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense works by providing a residual shield that becomes increasingly effective with each application.

QUESTION: How do I apply Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense?

Answer: It is best to begin applications in the spring, before the presence of the offending insects is detected. The preferred method of application is with a standard pump sprayer with a fine spray nozzle. Shake well, then mix 1.5 oz. of product with each (1) gallon of water. With nozzle about 6-8 inches above the grass, use a sweeping motion to spray downward into the grass.
Do not spray during the heat of the day. Spray early to mid-morning, or early evening.
For best results, spray all of the surrounding environment including trees, shrubs (get under and inside), non-sunlight areas like accesses to crawl spaces and basements, patios and decks, and up sides of structures about 3-4 feet.
Repeat application within 10 days of first application, then repeat every 2-4 weeks depending on mosquito activity observed.

QUESTION: It rained within a few hours after I sprayed my yard. Do I need to reapply?

Answer: If rain occurs within 24 hours after application, Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense will still have a residual effect, but the area may require re-spraying depending on mosquito activity observed.

QUESTION: I saw mosquitoes in the area I just sprayed. Is it not working?

Answer: Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense creates a residual shield or barrier. It is not intended to be used as a knock-down-kill product. You may still observe the presence of the offending insects during the time that this product is transforming the environment, making it inhospitable to them.

Answer: Each 32 oz. bottle, when mixed with water, will make approximately 25 gallons. This will cover a 37,000 square foot area. Depending on the size of the area treated, one bottle should provide several applications.

Answer: No. Mosquito, Flea and Tick Defense is safe for use around ponds, streams and other water areas. These areas breed mosquitoes and it is important to spray these areas regularly.
